Do I have to be in labour to wear my birthing shirt?
The bamboo birthing shirt is super comfortable, and is designed to be worn before, during and after giving birth. It is great for lounging in and wearing to bed and will probably become one of your favourite and most versatile pieces of maternity wear you will buy.
If I’m in labour, when should I put on my birthing shirt?
The answer is - you choose when is right. You might already be wearing your shirt when you go into labour (if it happens during the night), but if you’re not, you can put it on as soon as you like.
Can I wear my shirt during a caesarean birth?
During a caesarean, you will be asked to wear clothes provided by the hospital, but you can wear your bamboo birthing shirt™ before and after your caesarean. The shirt is especially great for the first weeks post birth because the shirts are so loose and soft they won’t irritate any caesarean scars.
